CDEM Event Point (OpenData)

This entity describes Civil Defence Emergence Management (CDEM) Event data which can be used publicly on maps and apps to help inform the public of information relating to Cordon and Evacuation areas. The CDEM Event Point feature captures the following locations (available from a picklist): · Safe Forward Point · Incident Control Point · Cordon Access Point · Cordon Road Blocks · Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) · Civil Defence Centre (CDC) · Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) · Traffic Management Point (TMP) There is also a free text field – Event Point Information to allow for general information to be made available about that location e.g. ‘Please report to this Safe Forward Point to be escorted through the cordon’. It is spatially abstracted to a point.
