Recapitulation of regional patterning using human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived mandibular prominence ectomesenchyme (mdEM)

To ascertain the induction of developmentally accurate mdEM, we sampled cell aggregates during regional patterning induction and compared gene expression patterns. RNA sequencing profiles of 1231A3 iPSC-derived neural crest cell (NCC) aggregates (day 5), mdEM (day 9), distal cap (day 13), proximal-oral domain (day 13), and dental mesenchyme (day 17).
