Classification of Apulian Municipalities by Internal Areas

List of Apulian Municipalities classified according to the definition of Internal Areas. The map of the Internal Areas identifies all the municipalities with a joint offer of three types of service – health, education and mobility – called inter-municipal poles/polies. It also represents all other municipalities based on their distance from these poles (in terms of average actual road journey times), classifying them into four bands: increasing relative distance - Belt, Intermediate, Peripheral, Ultraperipheral - and, therefore, with a potential greater discomfort in the use of services. Municipalities classified as Intermediate, Peripheral and Ultraperipheral represent all the Internal Areas.The source of the data is ISTAT
