Cross-media environmental control in selected areas Hirnsdorf
收藏资源简介:
For the first time, the environmental situation was examined across media at the site of an intensive livestock farm. The air emissions of fine particulate matter (PM10), ammonia (NH3), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) were estimated, the generation and use of waste was collected. Further focal points were the description of the status of ground and surface waters and the assessment of local and trans-regional transport emissions. An agricultural technical assessment was carried out and nearby protected areas were described. An expert from the Styrian state government carried out an air quality and odour modelling. The air quality measurements by the Federal Environment Agency show no direct influence of the emissions of the plant on the local PM10 and NOx pollution, but the plant proves to be a relatively prominent source of NH3.
