Transcriptome of BNYVV-resistant transgenic sugar beets

The present study aimed to investigate the performance and efficiency of transgenic sugar beets in inducing resistance against Rhizomania using a comparative transcriptome approach. Simultaneously, the viral RNA profile and possible co-infections in the roots of transgenic plants were assessed under Rhizomania disease. Moreover, the impacts of the transgenes on the transcriptome of transgenic plants were screened through differential expression gene analysis.
