This entity describes a provision made in the District Plan to protect rural amenity and open space values in the Banks Peninsular Ward. Ch 4, Appendix 9.2 of the District Plan 2015 defines Banks Peninsula Significant Landscape as all areas in Rural or Open Space or Papakianga Zones that are not identified as outstanding natural landscape or features or coastal natural character areas.
