Bacterioplankton in seven lakes from Fildes Peninsula (King George Island, Maritime Antarctica)

The objective was to explore the diversity of bacterioplankton communities in lakes from the Fildes Peninsula, comparing their assemblages during two different temporal seasons. This project provides results of bacterioplankton diversity in lakes from the highest human impact area in Antarctica, as well as with a strong influence from global warming.
