CityMaking!Vienna is an online toolbox that enables the design and submission of parklets in Vienna. By doing so, we want to make it easier for citizens to participate in the development of their neighbourhood. CityMaking!Vienna currently offers four different tools: 1 - Basic information about the design and construction of a parklet in Vienna. Here you will find general information as well as special information about the safety and design of a parklet. 2 - A parklet potential map showing where a parklet would be possible. Those parking areas where no parklet is possible have been coloured red. The map simplifies the understanding of the rules and is intended to provide suggestions regarding the use of public space. 3 - \*New\* A design tool that facilitates the preparation of the necessary plans for submission to the City of Vienna. The tool is very easy to use and still takes into account many of the requirements in terms of dimensions and safety. The created plans can be downloaded and edited according to your own ideas. 4 - An online filing tool that allows you to submit an application for a parklet to the City of Vienna. Here you can get in touch with the authorities to obtain a permit for the use of parking spaces. In addition, you will find all information about the required documents here.
