This project aimed to characterize the oral microbiome composition across periodontal disease stages using 16S rRNA gene (V3-V4 region) sequencing of gargle samples. Bacterial communities were compared between periodontally healthy individuals and patients with advanced periodontitis (Stages 3-4).
