Assessment of amoA genes diversity of Comammox in various biological water purification treatments in Japan. metagenome

Complete ammonia-oxidizing (Comammox) bacteria was identified in 2015, and it has been reported that Comammox is dominant over AOA (ammonia-oxidizing archaea) and AOB (ammonia-oxidizing bacteria) in various environments. This suggests that Comammox may play key roles in nitrification, in various environments. Here, I evaluated the diversity of amoA genes of Comammox, especially in biological water purification plant in Japan.
