Determination of nutrient-responsive genes in C. elegans

Our prvious paper studies showed that somatic progenitor cells in newly hatched C. elegans larva can be activated by feeding ethanol (or fatty acids) and amino acids. The end of this study is to determine genes that are induced by these nutrients. We will next identify genes that contribute to the activation of progenitor cells among these nutrient-responsive genes.
