Contaminating Activity (OpenData)

This feature represents sites where land use information is available about the land-use history, or the presence or absence of hazardous substances, or both. Under the Resource Management Act, Territorial Land Authorities are responsible for the prevention or mitigation of any adverse effects of the development, subdivision or use of contaminated land. Note that these sites do not meet the RMA definition of contaminated land. Entity type: Thing It is spatially abstracted to an Area.
