Organocatalytic Asymmetric Mannich/Aza-Michael Cascade Reaction of δ‑Formyl-α,β-unsaturated Ketones with Cyclic <i>N</i>‑Sulfimines: Enantioselective Synthesis of Benzosulfamidate-Fused Pyrrolidines

A catalytic highly enantioselective Mannich/aza-Michael cascade reaction of δ-formyl-α,β-unsaturated ketones with cyclic N-sulfimines, promoted by diphenylprolinol TMS ether as an organocatalyst, has been developed for the synthesis of chiral benzosulfamidate-fused pyrrolidines, which generated in good yields and with high diastero- and enantioselectivities.
