Gene expression profiles in maspin-overexpressing MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells

A comparison of gene expression profiles between control- and mascpin-overexpressing MDA-MB-231 cells was performed to investigate the role of cytoplasmic maspin in breast cancer progression. The data provides insight into the importance of cytoplasmic maspin in breast cancer progression. MB-231-control and MB-231-maspin cells were established by stable transduction with lentivirus-based vector. Total RNA from these cells were recovered using Rneasy Mini Kit. Isolated RNA was labeled by Cy5 and hybridized onto the 3D-Gene human mRNA oligo chip 25k (Ver 2.1). Oligo chip was scanned by a 3D-Gene Scanner 3000.
