The evaluation method 1.1 of the method documentation Soil Science (AG Boden, 2010) was used to estimate the potential compaction sensitivity (Sm) in 35 cm reference depth. This classifies the initial compaction behaviour (in terms of compaction intensity) of a naturally stored, detached soil on the basis of its physical and hydrological properties and is applicable to both agricultural and forestry soils.
