Bioactive secondary metabolites from an endophytic fungus <i>Chloridium virescens</i> GLQ05 and structural revision of alteamide

Two previously undescribed metabolites, chlovirescenols A (<b>1</b>) and B (<b>5</b>), along with six known compounds including amides (<b>2</b>–<b>4</b>), macrolides (<b>6</b> and <b>8</b>), meroterpenoid (<b>7</b>), were obtained from the <i>Ganoderma lucidum</i>-derived endophyte <i>Chloridium virescens</i> GLQ05. Their structural elucidation was achieved through comprehensive spectroscopic analysis. Besides, the originally proposed structure of alteamide has been revised. In the LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophage model, chlovirescenols A (<b>1</b>) and B (<b>5</b>) significantly suppressed the expression of the TNF-α as quantified with RT-qPCR analysis.
