Ocean Clustering Climatology
收藏资源简介:
Ocean Clustering Climatology proposes a new type of climatology of the global ocean state (T, S, rho) based on the ward clustering of the density from 1993 to 2018. The clustering is based on the similarity of the 3D state between each time occurence and groups them in different clusters. A single threshold has been used for all the different regions in order to keep the same limit on the variability for the global ocean. Thus, this climatology provides a different number of clusters for the different regions based on their variability. For each region, both seasonal and interannual variability is provided from the clustering. For each density state, the vertical modes have been computed in order to provide the certainty of the three first baroclinic modes globally.
