C-C Fatigue Testing for Impacted Woven-type CFRP Samples

A large woven-type CFRP plate with a thickness of 5.5 mm has been sampled according to ASTM D7136 for CAI testing and subjected to compression-compression (C-C) fatigue testing until failure. 6-PZT transducers are distributed linearly in 3-top 3-bottom configuration. The acquisition step of the experiment is achieved through multiple data acquisition systems: GW, EMI, digital image correlation (DIC), and pulse-echo ultrasonic C-scan. The equipment list in the GW & EMI unit consists of a signal generator, EMI analyzer, multiplexor, oscilloscope, and computer. <br>
本研究采用一块厚度为5.5 mm的大型编织型碳纤维增强复合材料(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer, CFRP)板材,依据ASTM D7136标准取样以开展冲击后压缩(Compression After Impact, CAI)测试,并对其实施压缩-压缩(C-C)疲劳测试直至试样失效。6个锆钛酸铅(Lead Zirconate Titanate, PZT)传感器采用3上3下的布局呈线性排布。本实验的数据采集环节通过多套数据采集系统完成:导波(Guided Wave, GW)、电磁阻抗(Electromagnetic Impedance, EMI)、数字图像相关(Digital Image Correlation, DIC)以及脉冲回波式超声C扫描技术。导波与电磁阻抗采集单元所配套的设备包括信号发生器、电磁阻抗分析仪、多路复用器、示波器与计算机。
