NIG_MoG

An inbred strain MSM/Ms was established from Japanese wild mice, M. m. molossinus, collected in 1978 in Mishima, Shizuoka-ken, Japan (Moriwaki et al. 1994, 2009). The divergence time between M. m. molossinus and west European subspecies, M. m. domesticus, from which genomes of the most classical laboratory strains are derived, is estimated to be roughly one million years近交品系MSM/Ms由1978年采自日本静冈县三岛市的日本野生小家鼠（小家鼠日本亚种，*M. m. molossinus*）培育建立（Moriwaki等，1994、2009）。小家鼠日本亚种*M. m. molossinus*与西欧亚种*M. m. domesticus*的分化时间经估算约为100万年，后者即为多数经典实验室小鼠品系的基因组来源。
