Census 2011: inhabited areas
收藏资源简介:
The dataset shows the geographical data of the inhabited places, referring to the territory of the municipality of Milan, used for the 15th Population and Housing Census 2011. ISTAT defines a __inhabited locality__ as follows:_a more or less vast area of territory, usually known by a proper name, on which one or more grouped or scattered houses are located. There are three types of inhabited places: inhabited center, inhabited nucleus and scattered houses (houses scattered in the municipal territory at such a distance between them that they can not even constitute a inhabited nucleus). Each inhabited location is associated with the respective census variables (population, families, dwellings and buildings when present). The downloadable csv resource contains columns of georeferenced points, which correspond to the centroid of the geometry used in its GeoJSON resource. __More information about the contents of the columns can be found in the Data Dictionary table below the preview of the CSV file.__
