Proteomic analysis of Antarctic sea-ice yeast Rhodotorula mucilaginosa AN5 responding to hypersalinity and hyposalinity stress

We investigated the survival and adaptive strategies of Antarctic yeast Rhodotorula mucilaginosa AN5 treated individually with high (15 %) and low (0 %) salinity to simulate the natural environment.We performed growth assays, SEM, biochemical factor assays, and proteomic analysis of yeast based on iTRAQ and PRM technology.
