Municipal Civil Protection Plans

The municipal civil protection plan is the set of operational intervention procedures to deal with any expected disaster in a given territory. It is a fundamental tool for the prevention and management of natural risks that aims to guarantee the safety and protection of citizens living in areas exposed to such events (earthquakes, floods, landslides, volcanic eruptions, storm surges, water deficits, forest fires, etc.) since it allows the authorities to prepare and coordinate rescue interventions. Note: The information in this table derives from the documentation acquired during the institutional activities and in the light of the feedback received from the municipalities of the Campania Region as a result of specific fact-finding campaigns, most recently by letter ref. 77412 of 11 February 2021. It should be noted that the Municipal Emergency Plans are formed and approved by the Municipalities themselves, which remain responsible and holders of the acts in question, and that the information below is purely indicative.
