Compilation of Thunnus thynnus (bluefin tuna) catches in the Northeast Atlantic Ocean 1950–2010@en

The data have been extracted and compiled from various sources but mainly from the ICES data base. The ICES data are from catch databases downloaded from the ICES website on 2014-01-14. These data are resolved by ICES area, country and year. During inspection of these data, it was noted that Norwegian data for years before 1950 had not been entered into the catch database on the ICES website. ICES has been notified of this omission by B. R. MacKenzie. The Norwegian data from ICES Bulletins. Statistiques has been added. Additional historical bluefin tuna catch data from other fishery reports and sources have been included in the data file for years preceding those when countries started reported their landings officially to ICES. These additional data have been reported in the literature previously (MacKenzie and Myers 2007, Fisheries Research).本数据集经多渠道提取汇编而成，核心数据来源于国际海洋考察理事会（ICES）数据库。本次使用的ICES数据均提取自2014年1月14日从ICES官网下载的捕捞数据库文件。这些数据按照ICES作业海域、国家及年份进行分类统计。在对该批数据开展核查工作时，我们发现1950年之前的挪威捕捞数据未被录入ICES官网的捕捞数据库。B. R. 麦肯齐（B. R. MacKenzie）已就这一疏漏向ICES进行了通报。本次已补充录入源自《ICES统计公报》（ICES Bulletins Statistiques）的挪威相关数据。在各国正式向ICES上报捕捞上岸量的年份之前的历史时段内，额外的蓝鳍金枪鱼捕捞历史数据已从其他渔业报告及相关渠道补充至本数据集文件中。该批补充数据此前已在相关文献中发表（麦肯齐与迈尔斯，2007年，《渔业研究》(Fisheries Research)）。
