Net sub-blocks

The basis for the Extended Block Map (EBK) is the net blocks of the Base Block Map (BBK) of the Office for Spatial Data and Cadastre. In order to avoid the formation of splinter surfaces at the SFBC, blocks of the SFBC with an area of less than 100 m2 were added to the neighbouring block with the longest common dividing line. Traffic islands with an area of less than 50 m2 have been eliminated. If sub-areas of different types of use with at least 5000 m2 occurred within a base block of the BBK, sub-blocks were demarcated. The SFBC consists of approx. 15600 partial block areas.
