Air quality monitoring stations in Austria. As of January 2019.

The report ‘Luftgütemessstellen in Österreich’ provides information - as of January 2019 - on the location of all air quality assessment points in Austria, the pollutants and meteorological parameters measured and the measuring instruments used. It describes measuring points for gaseous air pollutants, particulate matter, wet deposition and dust deposition, as well as measuring points for meteorological quantities and ultraviolet radiation. In addition to measuring points operated on the basis of the Immission Control Act-Air and the Ozone Act, research measuring points as well as measuring points for operational immission control plans are also listed. The air quality networks in the federal states are operated by the offices of the state governments. In addition, the Federal Environment Agency operates the national background measurement network.
