X-ray spectroscopy of the Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC7469

GT The XMM observation of this Seyfert galaxy will be used to separate andcharacterise the various components in its Xray spectrum and to study theirbehaviour over time. This object has shown evidence for absorption by ionisedoxygen, which suggests the presence of a dusty warm absorber, and forsignificant variability. We will derive physical parameters (ionisation stages,densities, gas velocities, etc.) over time, and use RGS to search for emissionfeatures (particularly OVIII Lyman alpha) from the warm absorber. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
