Pavement Condition Index Bloom Township 2025 (PDF)

This map provides a detailed pavement condition index for roads in Bloom Township from data collected in 2025. Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is a numerical rating of the pavement condition based on the type and severity of distresses observed on the pavement surface where 0 is the worst and 100 is the best posssible contidion. Roads were split into segments with a maximum of 0.25 line miles per segment. Segments longer than 0.25 miles were split into sub-segments at equal length. Each segment is assigned an average PCI value calculated from the original higher resolution PCI point file using a distance of maximum 20ft between line segment and PCI score point. This data set is part of a pilot program, one of six areas: Barrington Township 2025, Bloom Township 2025, Lake Township 2025, Palos Township 2025, Sickney Township 2025, Thornton Township 2025.
