N9101 XBT Data

The vertical distribution of water temperature in the surface layer of the ocean up to a depth of 500 m was measured at equal spaces of 30 min of longitude using an Expendable Bathythermograph(T-6). This instrument was built by Tsurumi Precision Machinery Co. The initial data were classified into data sets according to depth expressed in meters. All of the data, obtained more than a year ago, is now available on magnetic tape.
