To examine the impact of gene overexpression (OE) on the physiology of Candida albicans, we generated a pooled collection of 2,451 inducible barcoded OE mutants of C. albicans and used Bar-Seq to identify OE mutants that exhibit differences in abundance as a result of OE, illustrated by changes in the number of BC reads.
