Cruise NBP01-01 jumbo piston cores (JPC) were split at the Antarctic Marine Research Committee Facility, Florida State University. Split cores were subsampled using 5 cc syringe method approximately every 5 cm. These samples were then oven dried to determine physical properties of density, porosity and water content.
