Data base of Libinia ferreirae free-living and associated to the medusa, during the year 2013-2014.

This data was used for describe the Libinia ferreirae crab behaviour during the development, because this crab live associated with the medusa during the juvenile phase and during the adult life they live in the sea benthos, being a host of differents epibionts. This data showed the symbiotic relationship for the crab Libinia ferreirae with the medusa Lychnorhiza lucerna. This data present size, weight and occurence for this species during one year in Cananéia, São Paulo, Brazil. Additionaly, had the data for food itens by the relative contribution of each food category (in relation to the total volume of each stomach) by a classification from 1 to 10.本数据集用于研究费雷拉蜘蛛蟹（Libinia ferreirae）的发育行为。该蟹幼体阶段与水母营共生关系，成体则栖息于海洋底栖生境，同时可作为多种附生生物的宿主。本数据集揭示了费雷拉蜘蛛蟹与吕克诺丽水母（Lychnorhiza lucerna）之间的共生关联。数据涵盖了该物种在巴西圣保罗州卡纳内亚（Cananéia）为期一年的体长、体重及种群发生量记录。此外，数据集还包含食物组分分析数据：通过1至10的分级标准，统计了每只蟹胃容物中各类食物的相对占比（以单只胃的总容积为基准）。
