Raw 16S rRNA sequencing data from Wistar rats exposed to sodium nitrite and Lactobacillus plantarum 299v

This dataset contains raw 16S rRNA gene sequencing data generated for the doctoral thesis of Emre Duman. The data come from a 12-week exploratory study in Wistar rats assigned to four experimental groups (Control, SN, LP, SN+LP) and sampled at multiple time points. Demultiplexed FASTQ files and a sample metadata table (group, sex and time point) are provided to support downstream microbiota analyses.
