Genomic analysis of European hake populations across Atlantic and Mediterranean regions

Genome-scale dataset of RADseq-derived sequences from European hake (Merluccius merluccius) individuals collected across the Atlantic Galician shelf, the North Sea, and the Balearic Mediterranean. The dataset is intended to assess population structure, genetic diversity, and demographic history, thereby supporting effective fisheries management and conservation. It was produced within the framework of the FishGenome project, which addressed Improving Cost-Efficiency of Fisheries Research Surveys and Fish Stocks Assessments using Next-Generation Genetic Sequencing Methods.
