Genomic variant identification in the Jurkat cell line

This project seeks to identify genomic variants in the Jurkat cell line through whole-genome sequencing. The Jurkat cell line is an immortalized, T lymphocyte cell line with an extensive history as a model of T cell signaling. While numerous expression deficiencies have been described in Jurkat, genetic explanations have only been provided for a handful of defects. The cataloging of genomic variants in the Jurkat cell line will enhance our understanding of the cell line's deviation from normal human cells and will serve as a resource for future Jurkat studies.
