This database provides gene browsing capabilities based on either genomic coordinates or KEGG pathways, integrates expression profiles for exons, transcripts and genes, and enables transcriptome comparative analysis both across species and within individual species. Version 1.0 of MTD was launched in November 2015 and serves as a critical resource for transcriptome and evolutionary research.
