Memory Recall Bias of Overconfident (Underconfident) Individuals after Feedback

We experimentally investigate memory recall bias of overconfident/underconfident individuals after feedback on their overconfidence/underconfidence. The study is consisted of two parts. We conduct an experiment which is consisted of a laboratory experiment and an online memory recall experiment. In the laboratory experiment, subjects participate in 5 rounds of incentivized word-entry task, and they are asked to forecast (incentivized) their number of mistakes and ranking in accuracy before they receive the feedback. In the online memory recall experiment, subjects are asked to recall their performance in the word-entry task.
