Budget forecasts and realizations of Turkish municipalities

This dataset is an Excel file consisting of two sheets. The first sheet contains the budget revenue and expenditure estimates and realizations of the metropolitan municipalities for the years 2011-2022. Using these data, budget forecast errors and the years in which the budget had a surplus have been calculated (the years with a budget surplus have been used as dummy variables in the analyses). The second sheet includes macroeconomic variables such as inflation and unemployment. Each of these variables has been used in the analyses.
