Physical suitability of vegetables

This card shows the soil suitability for each cell (10X10 m or 1a) for a specific crop. This soil suitability is expressed by a score between 0 and 1. This score reflects the relative level of production compared to an optimal soil. The map shows the spatial distribution of the suitability of parcels for lan building production. The map contains relevant information for farmers, in particular as supporting information for crop selection. The map was produced for the Atlas Natural Capital by knowledge institutes RIVM and VITO (Belgium).
