InFORM Fire Occurrence Data Record (FODR)

InFORM FODR This dataset represents Fire Occurrence Data Record (FODR) incidents produced by the Interagency Fire Occurrence Reporting Modules (InFORM) Application and displayed for the State of Tennessee. The FODR is the authoritative fire occurrence dataset for the five major federal fire management agencies and some state agencies. It also includes records bulk uploaded by state agencies that do not participate directly in InFORM, supporting a comprehensive national fire occurrence dataset. This dataset is part of an ongoing project to consolidate interagency fire point data. The incorporation of all available historical data is in progress. The InFORM FODR records are the official record of fire events. Built on top of IRWIN, the Integrated Reporting of Wildland Fire Information system, the FODR starts with an IRWIN record and then captures the final incident information upon certification of the record by the appropriate local authority. This Tennessee-focused visualization is filtered from the source InFORM FODR incident service to display wildland fire incidents located within Tennessee that meet the following criteria: Categorized as a Wildfire (WF) or Prescribed Fire (RX) record Valid and not “quarantined” due to potential conflicts with other records No “fall-off” rules are applied to this service Displayed from a real-time source service This dataset is intended to support wildfire planning, situational awareness, fire occurrence analysis, interagency coordination, and public information purposes within Tennessee. Warning: Users should refrain from repeatedly querying the source service using a relative date range. This includes using the “in the last” or “not in the last” operators in a web map filter or any reference to CURRENT_TIMESTAMP.
