Field soil DNA sequences in Ottertail, Minnesota

This dataset contains 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequences generated from field-collected forest soils near Leech Lake, Minnesota, USA. Soil samples were collected from two adjacent forest sites (about 200 m apart) that differ in invasion intensity by exotic earthworms. Sampling was conducted on three dates (June, July, and August 2022), with three replicate soil cores collected per site on each date. Each soil core was segmented into four depth intervals.
