Plan-EIA files under the generic DABM procedure

File code PL, 2003-present. The dataset contains the active public documents of this procedure. Only files for which a notification was declared complete before 20/7/2023 were included in the dataset. The dataset also contains only the further case steps that were completed before this date. This procedure can be used for very diverse types of plans and programmes. these are only RUPs whose notification was declared complete before or on 30 April 2017 and for which the plenary session was held no later than 31 December 2018. More recent RUPs follow the integrated RUP/m.e.r.procedure and are included in another dataset. If the plan or programme is drawn up for an entire municipality, province or for the whole of Flanders, the relevant municipalities, provinces or the whole Flanders were included as a contour for the EIA plan. If the plan was drawn up for a particular area and if the plan is included in DSI (e.g. a plan EIA for an RUP from before the integrated RUP/EIA procedure), then the relevant (maximum) contour from DSI was included for the EIA plan. If this link was not found or does not exist (e.g. for plans for wind turbine search zones, the area around an airport or around watercourses, etc.), the municipal boundaries of the municipalities in the planning area were used as (too broad) delimitation for the EIA plan. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) aims to assess the potential impact of plans and programmes on the environment and human health so that they are taken into account in an equivalent manner (to other aspects and interests) when drawing up and deciding on these plans and programmes.
