Includes number of birds sighted per 10 minute watch from a ship moving at a speed of at least 4 knots; seabird species include shearwaters, razorbills, storm-petrels, gulls, murres, puffins, gannets, phalaropes, jaegers, fulmars, cormorants, dovekies, terns and black guillemots. Data used to plot seabird distribution at sea and to relate seabird distribution to oceanographic conditions.
