EQAS 2007

As part of the Sound Forum, ring tests are carried out regularly for the quality assurance of sound-technical measurements. In a consistent continuation of this basic work, different methods for measuring house technology noise were compared in 2007 and the quality of the measurements of the sound insulation of external components was examined. From the results of the EQA, repeating and comparison limits can be derived for the measurement of the sound insulation of external components for the extended frequency range. The comparison of the standard procedure with the short procedure shows that measurements of household noise are not more accurate than those after the short procedure. The measurement effort can therefore be significantly reduced without compromising accuracy.
