Flowing water protection system — connecting waters

The connecting waters of the FGSS open up several natural regions; as a result, the continuity from the sea to the spring runs and the connection of all downstream flowing waters is established. Water quality and biotope structures must meet minimum requirements so that there are no insurmountable obstacles to migratory or spreading animal and plant species.
