Soils worthy of protection in Lower Saxony — Search rooms for soils of natural history (WMS Service)

Soils that are particularly worthy of protection include soils whose natural functions and their archival function are essentially preserved. This includes soils of high natural history and soils that are representative of the federal state of Lower Saxony (Soil Duration Observation Area/BDF). The data set shows search rooms, i.e. only the approximate location, of such floors. They are based on information from surveys on the location of such areas. These include brown soils with Tangelhumus (according to Capelle & Caspers, 1998), paleo soils (various springs) and podsoles with local stone (soil estimate). The recording is not comprehensive and therefore incomplete. It is continuously updated.
