Addresses of places of care for children’s parents (LAEP) receiving a service provided by the Caf

This set of data restores the address of the child-parent places located in France and receiving a service (PS) paid by the Caf in respect of the financial year in question. The Laeppo is a friendly space that welcomes young children under the age of six, free of charge and without registration, accompanied by their parent(s) or a reference adult. This structure, adapted to the care of young children, provides a free play space for children and a place of speech for parents. It is open to times determined by hosts (professionals and/or volunteers) trained to listen and guarantee the rules of life specific to this place. Laeppo is often a first place of sociability for the child. It allows him to develop his creativity, his relationship to himself, to others and to the world. It thus provides a space for the child to develop and prepares him for separation from his/her parent, which will then facilitate a better reconciliation between family, professional and social life for parents. Laeppo also promotes exchanges between adults. Its objective is to prevent or break the isolation of a number of families, which can be geographical, intergenerational or cultural. A flexible structure, Laeppo is created and developed around projects aimed at fostering and strengthening the relationship between children and parents. In each Laep, the action is adapted according to the host population, the premises, the composition of the host team, the integration with other activities possibly carried by the manager. Until 31 December 2014, the Family branch financed the Laeps by means of a regular service provision (Pso) which took charge of 30 % of the cost price on the basis of an annual number of hours of opening to the public. For a better match between the quality objectives expected by the Family branch and the funding provided to the Laeps, the methods for calculating Ps Laep will change from 1 January 2015\. The amount of Ps now covers 30 % of the cost price on the basis of the number of hours of annual opening to the public, plus the hours of organisation of the activity, up to the ceiling price set at EUR 75.23/h for 2015.
