Raw 16S Amplicon Sequencing 2019 Dataset from Microbial Mats and Microbialites in Southwestern Puerto Rico

This dataset contains the raw, unprocessed 16S paired-end amplicon sequencing files generated from microbial mats and microbialite deposits collected in 2019 from three coastal lagoons in southwestern Puerto Rico: Salinas Vernales (SV), Salinas Salineta (SS), and Laguna Providencia (LP).These data support the manuscript “Documenting the Occurrence of Microbial Carbonate Deposits in Puerto Rico”, submitted to Scientific Reports and available as a pre-print on Research Square under the same title.Metadata is available on GitHub at https://bit.ly/PRGeoMicroSciRep
