RSPB Priority Landscapes

RSPB Priority Landscapes Dataset created in 2018. Last updated 18 June 2026. Digitised in Merlin from Ordnance Survey Mapping. Priority landscapes were developed with the aim of protecting, restoring and recreating large areas of well-functioning priority habitats. This has ecological, habitat connectivity and land management benefits. Within these areas the RSPB will deploy the best combination of our conservation ‘tool-kit’ available, to effectively deliver enhanced land management for habitat and species outcomes. Landscape areas were selected, based on: Ecological importance Clarity of plan/roadmap Achievability/impact Capabilities Presence of existing initiatives The Landscape Areas have been developed collaboratively with operational teams supported by UK level oversight. A key identifying each landscape area is associated with this map.英国皇家鸟类保护协会优先景观数据集（RSPB Priority Landscapes Dataset）创建于2018年，末次更新于2026年6月18日。该数据集基于英国地形测量局（Ordnance Survey）地图在Merlin系统中完成数字化处理。优先景观的设立旨在保护、修复并重建大面积功能健全的优先生境，此举具备生态、生境连通性及土地管理层面的多重效益。在上述景观区域内，RSPB将部署现有最优的保护工具箱组合，以切实提升土地管理水平，达成生境与物种保护目标。景观区域的遴选依据包括：生态重要性、规划/路线图清晰度、可实现性与影响程度、团队能力、现有保护举措的存在情况。优先景观区域由业务团队协作开发，并接受英国国家级层面的监督支持。各景观区域的唯一标识均与本地图相关联。
