Replication package for: Does E-Commerce Displace Trust? Social Capital, E-Commerce Diffusion and the SME Share of Goods Export Value in 30 European Countries, 2012–2023

Data and Stata code that reproduce every table and figure in "Does E-Commerce Displace Trust? Social Capital, E-Commerce Diffusion and the SME Share of Goods Export Value in 30 European Countries, 2012–2023" (Journal of the Knowledge Economy, manuscript JKEC-D-26-00945) and its Online Resource 1. The package contains the Eurostat extracts used (ext_tec01, trade by enterprise size class; isoc_ec_esels, e-commerce sales by enterprise size class) with the API queries that produced them, Penn World Table 11.0 and 10.01, the 2021 and 2023 editions of the Legatum Prosperity Index together with the 2026 data sheet that documents the discontinued Social Capital pillar, the constructed country-year panel (30 European countries, 2012–2023), and the code. Running code/00_master.do in Stata 19 rebuilds the panel from the source files and reproduces all tables, figures and the log in about two minutes. Details are in README.md.
