Number of pupils in grade 9 who are eligible for the science and technology programmes divided by the number of pupils who have received or would have received at least one subject according to the target and knowledge-related grading system in grade 9. If the total number of pupils is 40 or more and the number of non-qualified is 1-4 pupils, then the proportion of pupils is shown to be 95 percent.
